How it works.

Once we start, the whole thing takes about four weeks.

We limit how many of these we take on at a time, so the sooner you book, the sooner we hold your spot.

Book your session.
Right after checkout, your Blueprint Workbook and scheduling link land in your inbox. Session times are first come, first served.

Week 1: The workbook.
You complete the pre-work at your own pace. We need it back 48 hours before we meet, so we can study it before we sit down together.

Week 2: The session.
90 minutes on video. We ask questions, fill in gaps, and gather everything we need.

Weeks 2–3: We go to work.
Competitive review, positioning, customer journey mapping, market research, all feeding into your plan.

Week 4: Your video walkthrough arrives.
A recorded walkthrough of your strategy and the thinking behind it. Watch it before we meet.

The follow-up call.
We go through the written plan together. You ask questions, and we talk through whether working together on next steps makes sense.

What happens after the Blueprint is finished?

The strategy is yours either way.

At the follow-up call, we’ll bring some options for putting your plan into motion. The difference between them isn’t how much of the plan we put into place, it’s how much you want to do yourself versus how much you want done for you.

Hi, I'm Jen.

I’ve been building and running businesses since I was a kid, and no matter what I was running, I kept ending up doing the creative marketing side of it myself.

In my twenties I ran a home childcare service, and my marketing worked well enough that Elmendorf Air Force Base used my materials to train other providers. I ran a photography studio and taught myself to build websites and design logos because I needed them. Later I spent over four years directing the Sitka Chamber of Commerce, working with small businesses in every industry a small town can hold.

That’s been the throughline for over a decade at JI Design & Marketing. I’ve sat on your side of this table. I know what it’s like to run the business, watch the budget, and still need the marketing to actually work.

I lead a small team now, but I’m still the one who sits down with you to figure out what’s worth building.

Do I have to hire you afterward?
No. The Blueprint is yours to keep and use however you want. Plenty of clients implement independently, and that’s a genuinely good outcome.

Then we’ve saved you from spending five figures on the wrong direction. We’ll talk it through on the follow-up call, but the Blueprint is built from your own words and priorities, so surprises are rare.

About four to five hours total: a couple of hours on the workbook, 90 minutes on the Discovery + Strategy Session, and 45 to 60 minutes on the follow-up call.

Yes. You own it. Share it freely.
Small and new are fine. What matters is that you have a real business, or are serious about building one. Figuring out the path is what the Blueprint is for.
Not for Discovery + Strategy, it’s paid in full at checkout. Payment plans are available for implementation projects if we work together afterward.
