Project Spotlight: Pink Inspired
At JI Design, we believe in the power of creativity to make a difference.
Recently, I had the opportunity to channel this belief into a personal project that holds deep meaning for me: Pink Inspired. Born from my own journey with breast cancer, Pink Inspired began as a collaborative effort with my family and friends. Together, we launched the project as a way to raise money and support for my journey. It has since evolved into something bigger, with plans to spread hope, empower others, and raise awareness.
The Vision Behind Pink Inspired
Pink Inspired started as a way to help fund my treatment and share my story. With the support of my loved ones, we created a brand that could provide both financial and emotional support. While I am still in the midst of my own battle, the project is evolving into a platform that will eventually serve as a place for survivors to find strength, resources, and connection.
Designing a Brand with Purpose
The creation of the Pink Inspired brand has been deeply personal. I designed the logo as a wordmark featuring “Pink Inspired” in a soft script font, using pink tones to convey compassion and strength. The simplicity of the design reflects the essence of the brand: resilient, soft, and uplifting.
Building the Website: A Future Hub for Inspiration
The Pink Inspired website currently features an online store for the clothing line, which is designed to help raise funds and awareness. Although I’m still focusing on my own recovery, I have plans to expand the site with a blog that will share survivor stories and resources, offering a space for those affected by cancer to connect and find inspiration.
The Clothing Line: Wearable Messages of Strength
The Pink Inspired clothing line is a tangible way to support the cancer community. Each piece carries a message of strength and resilience, and all proceeds help support the project. The clothing serves as a reminder to wear your strength proudly, and to know that you are part of a community that lifts each other up.
A Project with Heart
Pink Inspired is still evolving, and my journey is far from over. With another surgery on the horizon, I’m focused on continuing my fight and navigating what comes next. While the full potential of Pink Inspired is still in development, I’m grateful for the love and support that has brought this project to life so far. It’s a reminder that even in the hardest moments, there is always room for hope and strength.
